Paweł Zawadzki
Prof. dr hab. Paweł Zawadzki - pianista i pedagog, laureat i juror konkursów pianistycznych. Ukończył z wyróżnieniem Akademię Muzyczną im. Karola Lipińskiego we Wrocławiu kształcąc się pod kierunkiem prof. Grzegorza Kurzyńskiego.
Artysta występował na estradach filharmonii wykonując koncerty fortepianowe pod batutą wybitnych dyrygentów: Tadeusz Strugała, Jacek Kaspszyk, Marek Pijarowski, Wojciech Rodek, Szymon Makowski, Eugene Tzigane, Giancarlo de Lorenzo, Kai Baumann, Lee Hong-Jin, Alexiei Vasiliev, Massimiliano Caldi, Juan Cantarell. Koncertował w Niemczech, Francji, Austrii, Holandii, Turcji, Finlandii, Danii, Szkocji, Bułgarii, Rumunii, Rosji, Białorusi, Korei Południowej i Australii. Dokonał nagrań dla Radia i Telewizji, a na polu fonograficznym ma wydane płyty kompaktowe z utworami Fryderyka Chopina i Franciszka Liszta nagrane dla firmy Selene. Jako konsultant Centrum Edukacji Artystycznej prowadzi liczne kursy pianistyczne. Jest wykładowcą mistrzowskich kursów pianistycznych w Krynicy-Zdroju i Łańcucie.
Paweł Zawadzki prowadzi bardzo ożywioną działalność pedagogiczną. Jego studenci i uczniowie zdobyli kilkadziesiąt nagród na znaczących międzynarodowych i ogólnopolskich konkursach pianistycznych. Są stypendystami Ministra Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego, programu stypendialnego Młoda Polska, Prezesa Rady Ministrów, Prezydenta Wrocławia, Krajowego Funduszu na rzecz Dzieci. Pianista w 2011 roku zainicjował powstanie Dolnośląskiego Towarzystwa im. Fryderyka Chopina we Wrocławiu (w latach 2011-2020 był prezesem DTiFC).
Aktywność artystyczną i dydaktyczną Pawła Zawadzkiego doceniono nagrodami Dyrektora Centrum Edukacji Artystycznej w Warszawie za szczególny wkład w rozwój edukacji artystycznej w Polsce. Postanowieniem Prezydenta Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej został odznaczony Srebrnym Krzyżem Zasługi. Aktualnie pełni funkcję Kierownika Katedry Fortepianu Akademii Muzycznej im. Karola Lipińskiego we Wrocławiu.

Paweł Zawadzki – professor, pianist, laureate and juror of piano competitions. He graduated with distinctions from the Karol Lipiński Music Academy in Wrocław under the supervision of professor Grzegorz Kurzyński.
The artist has appeared on the stages of music halls around the world, performing piano concerts under the baton of renowned conductors such as Tadeusz Strugała, Jacek Kaspszyk, Marek Pijarowski, Wojciech Rodek, Szymon Makowski, Eugene Tzigane, Giancarlo de Lorenzo, Kai Baumann, Lee Hong-Jin, Alexiei Vasiliev, Massimiliano Caldi, Juan Cantarell. He has performed in Germany, France, Austria, the Netherlands, Turkey, Finland, Denmark, Scotland, Bulgaria, Russia, Belarus, South Korea and Australia. He has made multiple recordings for both the radio and the television and, in the phonographic field, he recorded albums of works by Frederic Chopin's and Ferenc Liszt's. As a consultant of the Artistic Education Centre, he has given numerous piano masterclasses. Additionally, he is a lecturer of the piano master courses in Krynica-Zdrój and Łańcut.
He is very active in the educational field and his students and pupils have received various awards in prominent competitions worldwide. They are scholars of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, Młoda Polska scholarship programme, Prime Minister, Mayor of Wrocław and the National Children's Fund. In 2011, the pianist initiated the Lower Silesian Frederic Chopin Association and he was its chairman until 2020.
His artistic and educational accomplishments were acknowledged by the President of the Artistic Education Centre in Warsaw as he was presented with an award for his significant contribution to the development of the artistic education in Poland. By the order of the President of Poland, he was decorated with the Silver Cross of Merit. At present, he is the Head of the Piano Department of the Karol Lipiński Music Academy in Wrocław.
